Marvel - Paradigm Shift

Paradigm Shift by missgoalie75. In which after saving the universe, Peter and Scott become friends and it weirdly enough shakes up the Avengers.

Status: One-shot. Complete.

A happy ending for Endgame and Infinity War where no one dies and they undo the five year gap which already makes this fic head and shoulders above canon. Scott is really a great dad in this fic and I feel for Peter and all the Avengers. Good stuff.

Star Trek - Harnessing Starfire

Harnessing Starfire by Sherza. The Enterprise has a crew unlike any other. They are the best and brightest that Starfleet has to offer, the vast majority of them are painfully young, and they are largely untried. They are led by the most unpredictable and explosive duo that has ever graced Starfleet Command. Alpha and Beta Quadrants are reeling under the after-effects of Nero's second rampage. The Klingon Empire's fleet has been gutted. The Romulans are ominously silent. The shattered remnants of the Vulcans are desperately trying to save their culture and their people. All eyes are on the Enterprise, the boatload of children who succeeded where an entire armada failed. Depending on who you talk to, they are heroes, villains, or ignorant, blindingly lucky upstarts. After their rather explosive beginning, how will the Enterprise and her command crew fare? Kirk/Spock

Status: 25 chapters. Ongoing. Long.

I hated Star Trek Into Darkness so what made me read this fic was the note from the author agreeing with my opinion on it lol. Once assured there would be none of that movie involved, I happily delved into a story which still keeps in touch with lots of other characters besides the crew from Spock Prime to Sam Kirk to the Klingons. The author has a good handle on the characterization of everyone and I loved this view of the Klingons (especially compared to the idiocy that was Into Darkness and remains in ST Discovery). My only complaint would be that the author has an issue with telling, not showing in her writing, especially when she's not on her main plot - for example, there is no need to write a battle from both sides pov when just one would have shown us exactly what was going on. This is a pretty small gripe in a long, cozy fic.

Stargate Atlantis - My Home and Native Land

My Home and Native Land by copperbadge. Ronon's friendship with Chuck, the head Gate Tech of the Atlantis mission, leads him to discover the strange and alien ways of Canadians and helps him lay his past to rest.

Status: 5 chapters. Complete.

Ronon does not get enough love in this fandom and I just don't see gen in this fandom that often. Ronon's friendship with Chuck is a joy to read and I enjoy how much fun Ronon has teasing people especially Sheppard.

Star Trek - Once More Unto the Breach

Once More Unto the Breach by AnEscapeFromReality. James Kirk was the rudest student Professor Heleine ever taught. He stomped out of the middle of the professor's lecture like he wasn't a mere cadet. Well, the professor was done putting up with him. If he couldn't sit through an expert lecture, then he should give the lecture about Tarsus. That would teach him some respect.

Status: One-shot. Complete.

I am a sucker for good Tarsus fics and this one has an interpretation of Kodos that is unique but fits very well with who we see in TOS. I liked how Kirk dealt with the challenge here as well.

Star Wars - A Figment of Mother's Love

A Figment of Mother's Love by Darkmagyk. "Where was she from?" Luke asked. "To have soft hands."Beru frowned, "you know." She considered it, "she never said for sure, but she talked about Coruscant once. So she must have been from some rich, core world.""What was her name?" Luke asked like it was the first time he had heard the story of when Mother and Father came home and Grandma died."Padme."

Status: One-shot. Complete.

Padme deserves to be known and acknowledged by her children so this was lovely to see and slots perfectly into my headcanon.

Game of Thrones - Aemon the Dragonwolf series

Aemon the Dragonwolf Series by Sarra Manderly. A series of short stories set after ADWD/Season 6, with a mix of show and book elements. Jon is King in the North, Dany is about to land in Westeros, and the last of the Starks are slowly coming back together. In the meantime, the White Walkers prepare to attack, chaos descends on King's Landing, and Jon Snow discovers his true identity.

Status: 4 stories. One incomplete.

This series is pretty much everything you've been waiting to happen in GOT, all set after season 6 but incorporating some book canon. I wish a bit more of show canon had been ignored tbh but overall, it's great to see things like John finally talking with Howland Reed about his heritage or Petyr Baelish getting some of his comeupance.

Guardians of the Galaxy - Awesome Mix Vol. 2, Bonus Tracks

Awesome Mix Vol. 2, Bonus Tracks by Theo Miller. In which grudges are still held, but resolution is on the distant horizon. Also, it's amazing how fast gossip travels when you're stranded on a ship in the wreckage of a planet you just murdered.

Status: One shot. Complete. (possibly part of a series)

Another excellent fix it for the end of GOTG2. Very in character.

Guardians of the Galaxy - Ain't No Mountain High Enough

Ain't No Mountain High Enough by BeanieBaby. kept him ‘cause he’s small and fits into spaces others can’t. Good for thievin'.It’s the truth because Peter fits perfectly in that gaping black hole inside Yondu’s chest. Too bad he’s too much of a fucking coward to admit it.(Post GotG Vol. 2 Fix-it.)

Status: 4 chapters. Complete.

The fix it you were looking for after GOTG2. Everyone was great but I also loved that Gamora got a chance to shine.
